Amanda In The Kitchen
Healthy food ideas
I am Amanda, a professional chef, recipe developer, food photographer and health coach. I’m all about health and happiness through food. I love to bake and create food which supports health and share these healthy food ideas and recipes with others.
I am a wife and mother, a qualified school teacher, and an explorer of the world. My husband and I, together with our 3 children have lived in many amazing places over the past 15 years. We started in Eritrea, moving on to Ghana, Zambia, South Africa, Mauritius and finally settling in the United Kingdom.
My recipe index of healthy food ideas contains many recipes which I have created over the years and will continue to add to. They are all very nutritious and most of them are gluten-free. These healthy food ideas and recipes involve whole foods and are made from scratch, no additives or bad ingredients involved. My ethos is all about healthy eating for a long and disease free life because in today’s fast paced world we reach for the easy food which is usually shop bought and full of ingredients which don’t support health.
I shoot all my pics off my Canon EOS70D. My happiest place is either in front of my stove or behind my camera, shooting my creations.
Please try them and feel free to comment and upload pictures to my social media pages.
